First Tribal Conservation Corps in Los Angeles

The Tiüvac’a’ai Tribal Conservation Corps’ hands-on training program will work with Native youth and young adults towards the goals of regaining ecological functionality, enhancing climate resiliency, and human well-being. Project outcomes include partnering with the U.S. Forest Service to work on Forest Service priority projects which may entail land management, replanting, reforestation, and invasive species removal.

Get paid to accomplish needed conservation work on the ancestral lands of the Fernandeño Tataviam (northern Los Angeles County).

Youth, 18 through 26 years of age, are eligible for employment without regard to social, economic, racial, or ethnic backgrounds.
Through self-motivation and with support, Coprsmembers work to fulfill their education, development, and work plans by setting goals and objectives. .
